I have seen on SDN people discussing that CBSE scores are decreasing now or more so returning to normal after the COVID spike. What is everyone’s thoughts on this? What do you think the average matriculated CBSE score will be do this upcoming cycle?

I have heard applicants matching with CBSE scores from the 40s and 50s (new score) with a non-cat and/or GPR + solid letter of recs + great personality. Personally, I always aim to just do the best I can but if you wish to know a hard statistical number I would think a 61-62 is a good score since it is equivalent to passing Step 1. Good luck!
